Hello, we’re Alyssia and Thomas!

We’re a English and French couple currently on a journey to explore more of Portugal and Spain. We love meeting new people and connecting, so we’d be thrilled to join your Workaway and contribute to your project while getting to know you better!

Thomas holds a master’s degree in IT project management from France, and I (Alyssia) am a sommelier with a specialization in the wine business.

We’ve recently rekindled our passion for travel (it’s a bug that never goes away, does it?). Our plan is to explore Portugal and Spain, where we hope to settle long-term.

We’re curious, open-minded, and excited to immerse ourselves in new cultures and ways of living. Volunteering is our way of staying productive, lending a hand, and learning something new along the way. We’re dynamic, always eager to help, and ready to contribute wherever we can.

We can’t wait to get in touch and meet you for a new adventure!

Thomas was supposed to come with a friend and join us for two weeks, and in the end, he came alone and stayed for 3 months, for all of us it was a short stay as he made the time fly no matter what we were doing ( some easy aquapark assembly or just a quick power nap in front of the house).

I came for 2 weeks, I stayed 3 months.

This is not a Workaway, it’s paradise.

I’m honestly so grateful for having the opportunity to join this workaway, work with Luka, smoke with Petra, play with Riri.
My comment will never manage to relate how good this workaway is. The question is not : is this workaway good ? But do I deserve it…? More… read more

Thomas et Maxime se sont tout de suite bien intégré au travail demandé. Il ont donné à manger aux animaux et surtout très bien nettoyer la bergerie. toujours de bonne humeur et très agréables.

Our stay at Maryla's farm went really well! It was our first experience as volunteers and we loved it! Spending time with Maryla, feeding the animals and doing some chores around the farm has been a real pleasure! The accommodation was also very practical and comfortable! If we have the opportunity we will come back for sure!
