Hi! I’m Celal, a friendly and creative Frenchman with a love for travel (over 20 countries explored!) and cultural exchanges. I enjoy cooking and tasting global cuisines, playing sports (football, hiking, volleyball), gardening, DIY, and being in nature. Oh, and I’m a bit of a math geek too! With years of experience leading activities for kids and teens, I’ve become patient, energetic, and a good listener.
I’m from a city in France that sparked my curiosity and openness. Now, I’m eager to travel to dive into new cultures, boost my English (a personal challenge!), and share my skills. As an IT professional, I can help with tech stuff (websites, troubleshooting), but I’m also happy to pitch in with cooking, gardening, or community projects.
This is my first Workaway adventure, but with my travel background and passion for connecting with people, I’m excited for what’s ahead. Can’t wait to meet great hosts and contribute to their projects!

I can teach the basics of French and Turkish, as I’m fluent in both and love sharing my languages and cultures. At the same time, I’d like to improve my English, which is currently at A2 level, and reach B2 speaking skills through daily practice and immersion with hosts.

I’m passionate about IT and have a solid background in computer science, working as an IT professional. I’ve managed educational structures for years, so I’m organized, reliable, and good at leading projects or solving problems. I’ve got an entrepreneurial spirit, always ready to take initiative and bring creative ideas to the table.
With my dual French-Turkish nationality, I’m fluent in both French and Turkish – I’d be happy to teach either language or share cultural insights. My English is currently at A2 level, but I’m eager to reach B2 speaking skills through immersion and practice.
Beyond that, I’m practical and hands-on: I can help with tech tasks (like troubleshooting or managing systems), organizing activities, or even everyday stuff like cooking, gardening, or fixing things. I love learning new skills too, and I bring enthusiasm and a can-do attitude to everything I do!
