Hi! My name is Eva Sigalas, I’m 30 years old, and I work as an Environmental Consultant specializing in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy and sustainability reporting. Originally born in the U.S.A., I’ve been living in Greece since I was 12, but have lived and visited in many countries ever since. I’m passionate about nature and outdoor activities like hiking and rock climbing, which inspire my commitment to environmental issues. Besides my professional work, I enjoy exploring new cultures, journaling, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and engaging in deep conversations about psychology and philosophy. I also appreciate creative outlets like cooking, gardening, and personal writing.

I’m interested in doing a Workaway because it offers a unique chance to take a meaningful break from my routine, immerse myself in different cultures, and contribute through hands-on work. It’s an opportunity to connect with new people, learn practical skills, and experience a more grounded and sustainable way of living that aligns with my values.

I am fluent in speaking English and Greek, and can also speak some Italian. I enjoy teaching and am good at working with kids. I enjoy nature, I love hiking and am also a specialist in plastic pollution. I also enjoy garden work. I can cook and clean. I also have experience with taking care of younger kids. I have a first-aid certification from the Red-Cross, and I also have a driver's license.

When I’m not working or learning languages, I love being in nature—hiking, rock climbing, or just taking long walks. I also enjoy cooking simple meals, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, journaling, and having deep conversations around philosophy and psychology. I’m passionate about mental health, creativity, and finding meaning in the little things. I can be quiet and independent, but I also love interacting with people from around the world and learning about different cultures. I'm always looking for new experiences that help me grow, connect, and feel more grounded in the world.
