Greetings!

My name is Chance. I'm an artist with a love of the natural world that I occasionally attempt to capture with brush, camera & other mediums. I moved to Portugal a couple of years ago to design a new lifestyle for myself. I welcome new cultures & perspectives, and am constantly enlightened by the diverse ways others engage with their world.

I consider adventures a necessity, animals as my teachers, and music to be medicine for the soul. Having lived & traveled independently for most of my life, my favorite time is still sharing laughs with friends over a bottle of wine. That, and combing a beach for treasures! Exploring this gorgeous world is the best.

I love to socialize & engage with others, and appreciate solitude & quiet in equal measure. I'm ridiculously responsible. My cooking skills are relatively limited, so please teach me your specialty! I believe in helping to serve the planet & her inhabitants. My bliss is building & creating things with my own hands. I have myriad interests and love acquiring new skills & knowledge, especially when I can learn by doing.

It took some time, but Chance has built a very nice bond with our dog Dutchy during her time with us. Nice to see how familiar Dutchy became with her.
I can recommend Chance as an excellent pet/house sitter (not in cold climates).
