Hi! My name is Vlad, and I'm currently travelling around Asia. I'm passionate about education, sustainabe living, connecting with nature, and all things creative. As I travel, I would love to volunteer and make a positive difference to local communities.

A little bit about me - I'm 28, I was born in Ukraine, but spent most of my life in Dublin, Ireland. I studied maths/physics in university, and then worked in research for over 4 years. Currently I'm on what you might call a "career break", but with no immediate plans to return to my past life. I want to explore, diversify, try other types of work and alternative ways of living.

My interests include: music (guitar), art (drawing/painting), science, philosophy, spirituality and many more. I also love the outdoors and am passionate about hiking, rock-climbing and swimming! I'm very adventurous, and am always up for new experiences and challenges.

About the kind of work I would like to do - the most import thing for me is that the project has some kind of positive impact. For example:
- Anything education-related is great! I can help directly through teaching (English/Science/Maths), or through building/construction, or anything else that needs to be done.
- Anything related to nature preservation or sustainability is great! Like work on organic farms, or projects related to living more harmoniously with nature. I love working outdoors and am happy to do all sorts of manual labour.
- Creative/art projects.
- Any other projects that help the community or nature. I'm very open to different types of work and projects, and I can work very hard when I can see the impact of my work. Please reach out to me with any ideas you might have - I'm interested in many things, the list is by no means limited to what I've written!!

And of course, I love learning about new cultures and meeting new people! looking forward to hearing from you :)

Que habilidades tienes?
- I worked on several organic farms, so have experience gardening, planting, picking fruit, taking care of plants, etc.
- I have also worked on a building site, laying down rocks, painting, a bit of carpentry and construction skills, etc.
- Language skills: fluent in English, Ukrainian, Russian and can help you to learn these languages.
- I can play guitar (I've been in many bands over the years) and also sing a bit.
- Have a good knowledge of maths and physics, from 4 years of studies at university level.
- I have artistic skills - I'm good at drawing, painting etc. this has been a hobby since childhood.
- Lastly, I'm a quick learner and if I don't know something I'm sure I'll pick it up pretty fast!

Vlad helped us so much, his eyample even inspired the other volunteers to give their best. His main job was clearing the underwood on a really wild part of our piece of land, abandoned since years. The work was mostly building shelves using wood from the land, which I really enjoyed, because it had an artistic touch. Also building steps and clearing the land.
