I am Uta and I am new here (March 2025).
I like to have new experiences. I like to meet and talk to inspiring people. I like to improve my Spanish, to actually use and speak it (I've been learning for 1 and 1/2 years in the App Duolingo). I always like travelling to other countries and to meet the inhabitants there (not stay in hotels).
I like to help (to do work together) and I enjoy it, when there are different things to do during the day. I have quite a few talents and interests and like learning new skills.
I am 61. I had job training in different professions (housekeeping, gardening, accounting, economics, psychology, alternative healing methods) and I have work experience in various fields. I am a Mom of 5 gorgeous (grown-up) kids. I love to take care of dogs, horses, sheep, chicken ...
I like writing. One day I will write a book ...

Da ich in Betracht ziehe, in deutschsprachigen Ländern zu workawayen, schreibe ich nun auch noch auf deutsch.
Ich bin Uta, 61 Jahre alt und vielseitig interessiert. Ich habe in meinem Leben schon so manches "angestellt" und bin neugierig auf mehr. Ich bin vollkommen frei: meine Kinder sind erwachsen; ich habe kein Haus, keinen Hund, kein Pferd, kein Boot ... und keinen, der mir vorschreibt, was ich wann zu arbeiten hätte.
Helfen kann ich:
- rund um Haus und Garten (habe eine Berufsausbildung als Ländliche Hauswirtschafterin)
- bei Bürotätigkeiten und Buchhaltung (bin Steuerfachgehilfin)
- beim Verfassen von Texten und Korrekturlesen (auch Hausarbeiten, Bachelorarbeiten, Werbetexte o.ä.)
- beim Evaluieren beruflicher Entscheidungen (ich bin Dipl. Betriebswirtin, war Einzelunternehmerin und später Geschäftsführerin einer Firma mit 14 Angestellten; ich habe fürs Arbeitsamt/Jobcenter gearbeitet und als Coach für Frauen in beruflichen Veränderungsprozessen)
- grundsätzlich bin ich bereit alles zu lernen, was getan werden soll
- worin ich nicht gut bin: handwerkliche Arbeiten und Technik

Algo más...

I used to do a lot of sports (horseback riding, dancing, volleyball, judo), but didn't over the last few years. I would like to learn yoga, quigong, or something similar. In gereral I like to move my body.
I like card games (Rommee, Skat) and board games (Catan, Mensch-ärgere-dich-nicht and others) - open to learn new ones.
