Hi, Lucy from Czechia here!

Not long ago I came back from my last au-pair stay in beautiful Holland... And although it was a great experience and I'm glad I could spend some time there, I feel it's time for a change...
I was an au-pair in a few families during the past few years, and now I'd like to find out what I want to do in future in the long-term. I'd like to devote more time to developing my interests and desires and learn about new things. My aim is also to learn from locals' lives and their opened personalities...

That's why I'm now on a lookout for a new adventure and thought workaway could be worth trying :)
I'd like to stay in Europe and for at least a month at a place.

For the past four years I've been travelling throughout Europe 🌍 experiencing new environment, life-style and mentality, and doing various jobs such as: helping with kids and household, volunteering on a farm, taking care about gardens, doing house and pet sitting or supporting elderly people in their life...

And I'm still keen on travelling and learning about different cultures, people and places!
I'm curious about life in general ;)

I would describe myself as a friendly, trustworthy and caring person with passion for dancing, music, travels, hand crafting, animals, long walks...
I always enjoy sharing life stories, deeper conversations, discussions on various life topics and am also a good listener ;)
Being keen on hand writing, I take my notebook on every journey that I set off...
Pottery making, basket veawing or creating macrame decorations are some of the other activities that interest me a lot, as I enjoy hand work. But there would probably be much more :D
I'm into natural medicine, psychology and practical philosophy, which can be used in everyday life.
I'm used to being surrounded by animals, as in my family have always been kept some. Having a close relation to nature, I like making natural decorations for home and garden, and that's also the reason why I studied landscape design. The relation between people and their environment has always been the phenomenon that interested me pretty much... I like creating nice atmosphere and cosiness in the environment that surrounds us, including interiors. That's why I'm also into home transformations, design and decorations .

I guess I would be "on familiar ground" among people dealing with creative workshops, dance and art therapy related activities or making interior/exterior transformations, creating "homey" atmosphere. So if there was a possibility, I would be more than happy to learn more about these...
I would also enjoy helping an individual (e.g. in house and pet sitting, elderly support etc.) and having conversations together ...

I can offer my hands and practical knowledge in taking care about your place, in house sitting, pet care, child care, help and companionship for elderly... I can help with maintenance of your exterior and interior spaces and give some ideas on how to make your space a bit prettier and more practical.
I would also be happy to help you with organizing events and engaging/entertaining people with activities... Or cook some traditional dishes from my country and my travels...
