I am a geographer, traveller, dad and I work as an environmental animator. I am a born and bred Montrealer and know my city very well and would love to show someone around.

Aide
Endless work to do in the garden, some more complicated work renovating the kitchen and also a bunch of painting to do. I also need help with general cooking and cleaning. Please do not be afraid of this work if you've never attempted anything like this before, we,ll learn as we go!

it's a 3 bedroom apartment with all the amenities, in a quiet but cool neighborhood, not too far from the center. Workstayer will stay on a fold out couch in the living room, but we'll make it as comfy as possible. There are 2 kids around, 12 and 14 years old. I also have a bicycle you can borrow.

I'm sorry for the delay.
I stayed Richard's place for 2 weeks in June.
I was the only workawayer at the time.
I made a vegetable garden by myself while Richard was away.
He is a nice guy who let me use his room because I wanted a private room!

Marta is very nice and easy to get along with. She does require some supervision though, I was not always able to be present and often Marta had trouble advancing on projects that were not explicitly clear. The hours of her avauialbility were also less than optimal for me, be sure to check this with her before starting.

I stayed with Richard for a couple of weeks. He’s good at keeping in touch, friendly, funny. You can talk with him on any topic, he’s traveled a lot. Easy going, flexible, his kids are very nice. I did various tasks around the house, and helped his dad to move. Thanks for everything. Definitely recommend, good experience.

Cécile is a great guest. She is easy-going, discreet, works diligently, is careful and has initiative. She is very easy to be around and always positive. She did a beautiful complicated paint job in the kitchen amongst a ton of other small tasks. Richard was my first workaway. It was really a great experience. I did a variety of tasks with a majority of painting. It was fun.
Richard is a very good and welcoming person. All his little family is nice.

Daniel and Carola were super easy to have as guests. They are easy-going, friendly, and adaptable. They also did great work. They extended a deck with relatively little supervision. They were careful not to advance if they weren't sure about something. but moved forward steadily through the project. I would highly recommend these two!

Richard's was a nice place to stay in Montreal. I spent 2 weeks there, together with another helper, and we worked in the vegetable garden together (planting, borders, adding good soil).
