I really enjoyed my workaway experience with Johnny and friends at such an interesting property. Johnny has an easy going charm that makes you feel welcome right away. He is very accommodating and a fantastic cook as well so there was usually something interesting going on in the kitchen. Mostly Mediterranean leaning food and oh yeah lots of

Its a nice little community here on the property and quite fun sharing some meals and getting to know Sabri, Paul and Chris. Accommodations were quite comfortable, although in early spring when I was there the stone building can be quite cool. I would bring some warmer clothing next time.

Johnny is the best!! also Chris, Paul, Sabri, and the dogs! we have been there for a week and was the best experience, Johnny is deeply generous, easy going and cool man. The place is indescribable, full of art and nature. The monastery is just magic and you can look everywhere and discover thing and secrets. Riberac is also beautiful. Johnny

His friends are great!
His food is great great!
His dressingroom is great!
All in all I would say...: great!
The only ones I wouldn't recommend staying with Johnny are people who are on a diet. Food is too amazing.

I really enjoyed my workaway experience! Johnny and Sabri made me feel at home. Both very nice, funny and easy to get along. Foxy and Teddy, the dogs will always have a special place in my heart as well :p

The place has a very relaxed vibe and the house itself is an interesting place to stay at. My favourite place was of course the kitchen with all that delicious foods Johnny or Sabri prepared. They are both fantastic cooks! I never forget some of the evenings with their interesting, artistic, fun loving friends with good food, wine, live music and beautiful french countryside :) Thank you so much Johnny and Sabri! After two months of backpacking I found a home in this place. Despite I could only stay for two weeks, it was a really special time. I started my travels with the intention to discover the worlds beauty, and bounding with nature, aswell as inspiring people. … read more people. Surrounded by nature, on the borders of a cute little village, johnny, Ingrid and Sabri created a little paradise. The house itself has so many stories to tell, considering that parts of it already existed in the 13th century, is just overwhelming. This place is full of life and energy, which fills you with strength and joy. due to the artistic atmosphere you develop an urge to create aswell as you get inspired in all ways, if its in creating yourself or in the way your living your life. Johnny and Sabri welcomed me with an open heart and an everlasting smile and theire joy of living is wonderful to see and experience. Everything they do, they do out of love towards nature with a inspiring appreciation of life. I learned a lot during my stay and I left it with a smiling heart and a free spirit. I felt independent of time and enjoyed the beauty of nature in a whole new way, every night I was again amazed by the clearity and brightness the stars where to see in the sky and it didn't take me long until I doscovered the peaceful hammocks from where I had the best view ;).
There is so much to say and still I don't know how to express the gratitude I feel. Johnny is a wonderful person to be with, with his many laughs and his kind heart, he gave me the feeling of being a part of the family and was always caring and understanding. And Sabri, well I think he's one of the funniest persons I ever crossed paths with, aswell as he is always full of curiosity and interesting thoughts. It is a pleasure to speak with him and listen to his many thoughts aswell as learning things about the connection of the body and spirit. And then there are of course Teddy, Foxi and Ralphi the three dogs, which are absolutely adorable and wonderful to play with or kuddle :). I'll hold the experiences I came to collect dearly and I hope to find my way back to la predrix sometime soon. You defenetely found your way to my heart :)
