Our mission is to help individuals rediscover the magnetic beauty of the outdoors 🌳 and reconnect with their true selves 🧘🏾♂️. The camp offers a sanctuary 🛖—a place for genuine relaxation, where you can breathe in the pure air 🌬️ and let the tranquility of our surroundings envelop you.
🌱 Part of a Bigger Mission
This is not only a place for peaceful retreats and off-grid experiences—it is also a living project of our nonprofit organization, registered in Estonia 🇪🇪. Through the camp, we bring our NGO’s vision to life: empowering people through education 📚, nature-based learning 🌱, sustainability ♻️, and cultural exchange 🤝. Volunteers who join us contribute not only to building a unique space but also to creating educational resources, running community programs, and supporting initiatives for youth—especially from the African diaspora 🌍.
We are currently developing learning modules 🧠, youth camps 🎒, and digital resources 💻 on- and off-site, and your support directly helps us make knowledge accessible to those with fewer opportunities 🙌🏽. This collaboration between the NGO and the camp turns each project—whether it’s building a compost toilet 🚽 or hosting a retreat 🧘🏽♀️—into a contribution toward global education and inclusion 🌐.
We warmly welcome those seeking a peaceful retreat 🕊️. Within our grounds, a constant, soothing rhythm of life keeps us intertwined with nature and one another 🌳✨.

🧱 We have several planned bigger projects, including:
• 🛏️ Creating a cozy volunteer area
• 🌿 Establishing a herb garden
• 🧑🏽💻 Enhancing our use of Monday.com project management software while combining it with make.com automation
• 🧘🏾♀️ Developing and running a variety of retreat programs (e.g., outdoor adventures, yoga, dancing, music, improv, soul healing)
• 🔄 Setting up exchange programs with other Workaway hosts
• 🌐 Increasing engagement with our online community

Volunteers will also have the opportunity to learn about our high-tech solar setup ☀️🔋, our sustainable water supply from our own borehole system 💧, and our high-speed internet provided by Starlink 🚀. Our facilities include a washing machine 🧺, a dishwasher 🍽️, and an oven 🔥 to ensure your stay is comfortable and convenient.
Our vision is to create a modern off-grid living experience 🌿💡 where autonomy meets ease. This high-tech off-grid lifestyle means you don’t have to sacrifice the comforts you’re accustomed to, such as Starlink internet with up to 10mb/s 📶, warm showers 🚿, and modern sanitation 🚽.
Our community is built on passion 💖, not obligation. We are not wealthy, but we are deeply committed to providing food 🍲 and welcoming volunteers 🙏🏾 because their support is highly appreciated, needed, and valued. While we operate on Portugal Time ⏳, we remain focused on our work 🔧.
To foster skill and language exchange 🗣️🔄, we plan to introduce a Skill-Share Day. On this day, each person will have the opportunity to teach their skill for one hour ⏱️, followed by the next person—creating a dynamic environment of learning and sharing 💫.
We offer accommodation in a small, medium, or large tent or bell tent 🏕️, depending on availability. Amenities like hot showers, toilets, electricity, fast Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and an oven are all shared.
