Description
Hi! We’re Olga and Alvaro — friendly hosts, part-time remote workers, and full-time lovers of nature. While we’re not currently living full-time at our off-grid quinta (farm) in the peaceful hills near Monchique, Algarve, Portugal, we’re in the process of bringing the place to life — and we’d love some help along the way.
The quinta is remote, surrounded by trees, birdsong, and mountain air. Our dalmatian Nina and our free-spirited peacock are often there, and we check in regularly to support and connect with volunteers. If you have your own transport (or an RV!), you'll be extra comfortable navigating the area.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

We love connecting with people from all over the world — and even though we’re not always on-site, we make time to get to know our volunteers, share stories, and support your stay. You’ll also get a real taste of rural Portuguese life in this quiet corner of the Algarve, far from the crowds.Aide
* Cleaning the pool area
* Gardening (cleanup and when the season is right: planting new vegetation)
* House sitting when we’re not there
* Caring for Coco, our peacock (yes, he’s part of the family)
In Return:
You’ll have time and space to relax, reflect, or even work online (yes, there's Wi-Fi), with 3 hours of help per day, 5 days a week. We prefer stays of about a month and are willing to consider longer stays. Meals aren’t included, but you’ll have access to the kitchen and a peaceful space to make it your own.Langues parlées

Autres infos...
Monchique is a beautiful historic town in the Algarve, famous for its mountains and spring water. Hiking trails are all around. The beach (West and South coast) with all the hustle and bustle of touristy Algarve is found at 45 min. driving.
If you’re looking for nature, purpose, and a calm rhythm, we’d love to hear from you.
