  Description

  Some years ago we, two Austrians, bought a house and ground in Calabria, situated in the mountains, with a view to the thyrennian see and Stromboli, in a very quiet rural surrounding. The next village (and shopping facilities) are about 3 km away, to go to the the sea it's about 25 min by car.
  We built a new house, which still is not 100% finished. So there are some works in and around the house to finish.
  A garden for vegetables has to be set up, the stable for the future animals we want to have here, is not built yet - and has to be built. All the trees we have here, olives and fruit trees, have to get their cut every year. The constantly growing weeds also have to be cut away again and again. Heating wood has to be cut for the winter ...

  Guest room in the house or (depending on the season) in the camper on our ground; meals / cooking together; we are not vegetarians, but eating meat is not a daily event.

  As already mentioned: we are in a remote area, public transport is available in the next village, about 3 km away, and this not very frequently. You should be happy with your time off, spending it in the nature all around or for your personal projects, where you do not need to meet many other people.
