  We are a small family business based in Swedish Lapland since 2008. We live eight kilometers outside the village of Sorsele and run our small husky farm with almost 50 dogs. We are Matthias and Barblina and our three children, who are now almost young adults. We are originally from Switzerland. Therefore, everyone at home speaks German, and for this reason, we are always looking for someone who also speaks and understands German.

  Wir sind ein kleines Familienunternehmen, welches seit 2008 in Schwedisch Lappland zu Hause ist. Wir wohnen acht Kilometer ausserhalb vom Dorf Sorsele und betreiben da unsere kleine Huskyfarm mit knapp 50 Hunden.
  Wir, das sind Matthias und Barblina und unsere drei Kinder, welche mittlerweilen bald junge Erwachsene sind.
  Ursprünglich kommen wir aus der Schweiz. Somit sprechen bei uns zu Hause alle Deutsch und aus diesem Grund suchen wir jeweils eine Unterstützung, welche auch Deutsch spricht und versteht.

  We are well rooted in the community and have good contact with the locals in the village as well as with the indigenous people of Lapland, the Sami.

  Wir sind gut in der Gemeinde verwurzelt und haben einen guten Kontakt zu den Einheimischen im Dorf wie auch zu der Urbevölkerung von Lappland, den Samen.

  Aide

  There's always something going on at our farm. The animals need to be fed and cared for, the lawn needs mowing in the summer, and sometimes minor repairs need to be done.

  Bei uns auf dem Hof ist immer etwas los. Die Tiere wollen gefütter und betreut werden, im Sommer muss der Rasen gemäht werden und teilweise fallen kleinere Reperaturarbeiten an.

  Hébergement

  A small cottage is available on our farm for our helpers. The cottage has its own bathroom (shower/toilet) and a small kitchenette, and is located directly on the river, surrounded by trees.

  Auf unserem Hof steht ein kleines Häuschen für unsere Helfer zur Verfügung. Das Häuschen hat ein eigenes Bad (Dusche/WC) und eine kleine Kochnische und liegt direkt am Fluss umgeben von Bäumen.
