Description
I am Jan, originally from Hamburg. I always liked the countryside better since my childhood memories in a small village in Steiermark, Austria. I used to rather hang out in the nearby park than going to school and spent my life mostly on organic farms and in Community where I learned several skills as vegetable gardening, baking and construction.
I live in Bavaria close to the Czech border in a small town and work in a local hardware store.
Right now I don't really have much to do for a volunteer but I would want to spend some time with you before lunch and on the weekends to take hikes in the nearby hills or go on a tour with the bikes, etc. I also like swimming, badminton, Padel tennis, volleyball and other things. We could cook together and I am sure there is something to do in the apartment. I also like to watch good movies listen to interesting music.
I appreciate deep conversations and like Backgammon too. I drink Yerba Mate and eat mostly vegetarian.

The area around Waldmünchen is very interesting historicaly and we can make excursions into the Czech Republic.
I like baking, Yerba Mate, healthy and tasty foods, movies and documentaries, playing some guitar and mandolin and listening to music (Bluegrass, Old Time, Appalachian and Irish Folk mostly).
Aide
Some cleaning would be nice and maybe some cooking in the evening as I work mostly from 2 till 6 pm.
I am taking care of a retired lady teacher and there is some gardening to do.

I can pick you up from the train station. I have good bikes which are longing for a ride! There are historic towns and Museums around and wonderful views from mountain peaks!
