  Hi there! We’re Daniel and Tara, and we’re excited to share our home and lifestyle with you. Our cozy house in beautiful Nambucca is just a short walk to the beach, local shops, supermarkets, and the skate park. We have two friendly dogs, Archi and Roxy, who enjoy playing frisbee and love cuddles.
  
  Our home offers a private room for Workawayers, along with access to a small gym, a library/reading nook, and veggie gardens where you can help yourself to fresh produce. We enjoy an active lifestyle and love skating, surfing, playing board games, practicing yoga and meditation, and flipping around at the trampoline park. Tara works from home while Daniel is often away for work, so there’s plenty of variety in the pace of life here.

  Staying with us offers a unique opportunity to be part of a relaxed and active lifestyle in the beautiful coastal town of Nambucca. As experienced travelers ourselves, we’ve explored many parts of the world and love connecting with people from different cultures. Daniel has even run a hostel before and used Workaway extensively as a traveler, so we’re familiar with what makes this kind of exchange special.
  
  You’ll have the chance to join us for activities like surfing, skating, yoga, or board games, or simply enjoy conversations about travel and life over a good meal. We’re also happy to share tips and insights about traveling in Australia or elsewhere.
  
  Daniel is currently learning Spanish, so if you speak the language, we’d love to practice with you! In return, we’d be happy to teach you a bit about Australian culture, cooking, or anything else we can share from our experiences.
  
  Whether it’s exploring new hobbies, swapping stories, or just enjoying the company of like-minded people, we look forward to creating a positive and meaningful cultural exchange with you.

  Aide

  We’re looking for someone to help out around our home and garden, as well as care for our two dogs, Archi and Roxy, when we’re away. The help is light and straightforward, and we’re pretty flexible with how it’s done—roughly an hour a day, but we’re not strict.
  
  The tasks may include:
  • Caring for and playing with the dogs (this is the most important part!)
  • Light gardening, such as weeding or watering the veggie patch
  • Tidying around the house or garage
  • Occasionally using a gurney for some outdoor cleaning
  
  When we’re home, we’d love to invite you to join us for a surf, skate, or just to hang out and play a board game. While we’d enjoy someone who shares our interests, the priority is finding someone we can trust to look after our home and furry friends when we’re away.

  We offer a private room on the ground floor of our home, providing a quiet and cozy space for you to relax. The room is simple but comfortable, featuring a fold-out bed and everything you need for a peaceful stay. Being on the bottom floor ensures privacy, as we live primarily on the top floor, giving you your own space to unwind.
  
  When it comes to food, you’re welcome to help yourself to fresh produce from our garden and anything from the fridge or cupboards. While we’re not officially providing food as part of the exchange, we’re more than happy to share meals and enjoy good company over dinner whenever it suits.
