  Description

  Our home has a view of Kawau Bay and 7mins walk to Algies Bay. There is a public bus 4mins walk from our door and there is lots to enjoy within walking distance alone and in the local area with us. My partner and I are looking for an avid walker and a dog lover to join us for a month mid July-mid August.
  
  You would be expected to take our dog for 2x 1hr+ walks in the local area and if walks were shorter help with some basic chores as well. Approx 4hrs of light work during weekdays. Suited to an outdoorsy, responsible person who loves long walks in nature and can handle a VERY energetic and excited dog.
  
  Work is in exchange for sharing culture, food, accommodation and activities when weather and time allows. We love going paddleboarding, surfing, sailing and biking etc. When weather and time allows. Food is eggs/cereal for breakfast, sandwich or leftovers lunch and hot cooked dinner. Snacks not included as everyone is different.

  We love spending time outside work in the outdoors whether it be mountain biking in the local forests or sailing in the bay in dinghies or keelboating. If you love the outdoors, this is a great place to stay.

  Aide

  We're looking for someone who is able to be home a little for company for our dog, take him for walks and help out around the house if needed. We also love meeting new people from different cultures.

  I've learnt a little German and we are both native English speakers. I'm a primary teacher so happy to help with English language learning and I love learning new languages too.

  Hébergement

  We have a fully furnished room that has been recently renovated. The house is 1 level, 3 bedrooms with shared bathroom and living area that looks out to Kawau Bay. We can provide gluten free, dairy free meals or full gluten and dairy. We eat meat but can make meals without aswell.

  Walk or bike locally to range of parks and beaches, bus into Warkworth for town activities and coming join outdoor activities with us. Kiwi watching is very closeby which is great in the winter.

  We are up around 4:30-6am so being quiet after 10pm weeknights is necessary for us.

  We have a gsp dog, so any pet that is compatible with our high energy dog is welcome. Other high energy dogs are ideal.
