Marie is a very talented artist and timber sculptor who joined us at the farm for about two weeks in April. We found Marie to be very friendly, outgoing, and willing to help with whatever we needed her to do on any day. She quickly picked up the routine tasks and was keen to learn new ones. Even the boring jobs she did with a smile. Marie was

She got to meet some of our friends and enjoyed some downtime with us which we appreciated. It was a pleasure hosting Marie and we would gladly have her back again if the opportunity arose or would happily recommend her to any new host. Marie is mature beyond her years, her artistic talents showed a deep love for her craft. We wish her all the best in her travels and in the future.

Elmeri was with us for just over a week and he quickly picked up the routine of our daily tasks on the farm and was also keen to find other ways he could help us. Elmeri is friendly and cheerful and we enjoyed many chats about world events and in particular the Finnish culture and way of life which was insightful. Elmeri was willing to help with

Evenings were spent sharing meals together while watching old movie favourites or videos of great music and comedy. We would definitely recommend Elmeri as a Workawayer to any prospective host.

I stayed at Jayne’s and Paul’s beautiful farm for a week and it was the best workaway I had so far! It’s the perfect place for all nature and animal lovers out there! I had one of their caravan’s in use just by myself which was really nice 😊 Jayne and Paul are warm hearted people and they did absolutely everything to make me feel comfortable and

Having Narae stay with us for the three weeks was an absolute pleasure. She is open, warm-hearted and funny. We shared many great conversations together and many happy hours sharing meals while watching movies and music on YouTube. All our friends loved her too. She can play piano beautifully. We really enjoyed taking Narae to live music events
… read more and local scenic spots. She loved the visits to Mogo Zoo and attractions in Canberra.
Her love and care for all our animals was obvious and she soon made friends with our pets who still miss her (especially Poppy). Nothing was ever a problem for her and she had plenty of enthusiasm to just give anything a go. She was keen to help out with daily tasks and our other bigger projects. Narae would often ask us when we were going to tackle some of the more difficult or bigger tasks associated with our farm animals so that she could give us a hand (ie drenching cattle and tackling a ram with a severe horn injury).
She happily shared her food culture with us and made us amazing sushi. We learnt much about South Korean food from her and have now added Kimchi to our list of favourite food accompaniments as a result. We would definitely welcome Narae back again any time and wish her many more positive Workaway experiences.

If you want to get away from the busy and packed city life, and fill up the good energy surrounded by the nature and animals and with good people, good food(+wine:)), good music, I super-strongly recommend you stay in Paul and Jayne’s farm!!
The three weeks I stayed in Paul and Jayne’s farm was absolutely incredible. I found my family/friends
… read more here!! :) Paul and Jayne are one of the most wonderful people I’ve met, who are true artists, best chefs and DJs, and wise mentors with warm hearts!
The farm is located on a hill and the view is so amazing like in a fairy tale. All the stress will disappear by looking down the hills in all directions, looking up the beautiful sky, endless stars, the sunrise and sunset, listening to the sounds of birds and wind, cuddling with lovely animals.
Here, you will meet the happiest+healthiest animals and be friends with them: dogs, cats, cows, chickens, geese, sheep and alpaca.
The work I helped at the farm was simple and fun. Paul and Jayne were always helpful and caring. I didn’t feel at all as I was working, especially with good people who are always ready to laugh, beautiful views, fresh air and good music!!
I learned so much about looking after animals, farming, gardening and it was inspiring to see how they take such a good care of animals, share with the local community, care about the environment, appreciate the nature, art and life.
Everyday was flexible on schedule and I’m very thankful they were so considerate for me to have a plenty of chances to explore different parts of Australia and experience Australian culture and life style since it was my first trip to Australia. Everyday was like a gift and unbelievably perfect! I miss every part of it and always keep it in my heart!
Thank you so so much Paul and Jayne and all the Buckajo tribe:)!
I'm sending lots of love from Seoul and look forward to seeing you again!! :)Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

We already miss Jana hugely and she's not even been gone for more than a day! Our farm had been bone-dry for nearly a year and, as soon as she contacted, the rain forecast suddenly jumped up and just after she arrived we had record-breaking rain. We think Jana means 'rain-bringer'!
The rain did mean we couldn't do many jobs for a few days and

She is a fun-loving and smart young woman with a ready smile and mischievous sense of humour. There is never a dull moment when she is around! She operated our excavator like an old hand after just some basic training and loved every opportunity to drive our vehicles.
It was a great pleasure to be able to show her the Southern Cross for the first time, take her to our favourite places in the area and treat her to all the best places to eat.
We wish Jana all the best for the rest of her travels and Happy Birthday for a few weeks time!

Jayne and Paul are lovely! If you love the outdoors, good food and music you will fit right in! (And even better, if you know how to play any kind of instruments, they really like listen to you playing :)) I loved playing the most beautiful piano in the world, going out with some friends and just enjoy the beautiful view on the farm. They took me

One of the things I enjoyed most was that I could try to use an excavator! I already miss the huge amount of mangos and avocados… When you’re traveling along the coast, it is definitely worth to say hello to Paul and Jayne :)Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.
