Description
Hi there!
We’re Gin and Johan, living with our two kids (2 and 4 years old) in a wild and peaceful valley in Northern Sardinia. ☀️The sun rises through the oak trees, the children run barefoot in the herbs, and every day we build something with love🩵
We’re a family with a dream of a humanity based on trust, simplicity, and living in harmony with the Earth 🌍
We’re creating a space where children can grow free, surrounded by nature and caring people. We grow food🍓, gather wild herbs🌿, cook creative meals (mostly vegetarian), fix what breaks, build what we need 🔨, always with heart and joy.💚
We welcome families, solo travelers, couples — anyone who feels that another way of living is possible.
We speak English, Italian, German and Spanish, and we share everything — meals, tasks, laughter, and dreams. Our children will be so happy to have little wild playmates around🥰
If you’re looking for a place where you can contribute in a real and meaningful way, learn through your hands and heart, and rediscover the beauty of essential living,

You’ll be part of a simple daily rhythm where learning flows both ways: maybe you’ll cook a dish from your country and taste something new from ours, or learn how to build a compost toilet, stack dry-stone walls, or care for a biodynamic garden.
🌀 Every week we gather at the beach with other families and children for play, nature and sharing.
🌕 We also host women’s circles, full moon gatherings, and seasonal celebrations in tune with the Earth’s rhythms.
These are moments of connection that bring together locals, travelers and old friends — creating a space where everyone can feel part of something meaningful.Projets impliquant des enfants

We're living our dream on a wild and beautiful piece of land, where we're slowly creating a space for learning, sharing, and connecting with nature. Our days are filled with hands-on activities: planting, fixing, cooking and making our space more welcoming.
There's no rigid schedule or to-do list here. We listen to what the land (and the kids😂!) need each day. Sometimes that means lending a hand in the garden, sometimes it's helping with lunch, or tidying up a shared space. We do things as a family, and you'll be part of that rhythm too.
Depending on the season and your interests, you might:
🌿 Give a hand in the garden - sowing, watering, weeding, and harvesting
🍋 Forage for wild herbs and fruits, and learn how we use them in the kitchen
🍽️ Help prepare delicious shared meals, or keep the kitchen joyful and clean
🪵 Lend a hand with light DIY projects using recycled or natural materials
🎨 Join in on creative activities with the kids - drawing, storytelling, and Sand play
💫 Be part of conversations and dream-sharing about a more caring way of living
We are not a business, and we don't run any paid events. We Wish to share what we have with people who want to live more in tune with the Earth and Heart.🌍🩵Langues

We’re a multilingual household — we speak Italian and German in daily life, but also English and Spanish . If you’d like to practice Italian or German you’ll have plenty of opportunities in daily conversation, during meals, work and relaxed moments. We’re happy to slow down, explain things and help you learn , expecially if you help us pick up some words from your language in return😁 Children are bulingual and absorb languages like sponges, so don’t be surprised if they start greeting you in your native tongue after a few days!Hébergement
We live in the middle of nature, and we mean it 😄! The kind of nature that comes with buzzing insects, curious lizards, and the occasional snake passing through 🦎. It's beautiful, wild, (sometimes a little messy) and we love it all.
We moved here just two years ago and have been slowly transforming the place with our own hands and hearts. That means it’s always evolving. Some areas still feel like a work-in-progress, depending on what we’re building or fixing. We do our best to make things functional and cosy, even if some solutions are simple or temporary.
Right now, for example, the bathroom is split: there’s a basic outdoor shower that we’ve adapted to be usable and private, and a compost toilet that works great (once you get used to the idea!).
As for accommodation:
🏕️ We have a lovely tent — a kind of mini-yurt (about 5m diameter and 1.80m high in the centre). It’s cosy and perfect for two.
🌲 There’s also a peaceful camper spot in the woods, with privacy, olive trees, and a beautiful view.
🛏️ And we’ve just finished renovating a small room in the common Building. It might still be missing a final touch, but it’s clean, welcoming, and made with love. The building it Is still being restored, but the room itself is ready to host 🙏
So, if you're into raw nature, honest transformation, and you don’t mind the occasional unfinished edge — you'll feel right at home!Autres infos...
We’re mostly vegetarian ( but not strict).
Every now and then, Johan and the kids enjoy a homemade burger, or a friend shows up with a kilo of local sausage… and we light up the grill.
Our approach to food is joyful and flexible. Everyone’s welcome at the table — and here's what you can expect:
🥬 Fresh organic veggies straight from our garden
🌿 Seasonal wild herbs and foraged plants
🧀 Delicious Sardinian cheeses
🍞 Plenty of grains and legumes, with gluten-free options always available
🧁 Home-baked cakes, fresh juices, and tasty homemade creations
🍇 A weekly trip to the local market for fruit and seasonal goodies
❄️ No fridge — we eat fresh food, following the rhythm of the day
Gin is celiac, so our kitchen is naturally gluten-free friendly — safe, creative, and full of flavor.
Most days we cook and eat together once or twice, gathering around a big table or under the sun.
At other times, feel free to prepare your own meals — all our ingredients are shared.
🚗 Getting around
It’s easier if you have your own vehicle, especially for exploring the beaches
The nearest bus stop (to Tempio Pausania and other towns) is a short distance away
We can pick you up when you arrive, and help with occasional lifts if needed
🏡 A few notes about how we live
We live a simple, off-grid lifestyle, in connection with nature and the seasons.
We use a compost toilet, don’t use a fridge, and enjoy life mostly outdoors.
We ask for respectful presence, care for shared spaces, and participation in the flow of daily life — even when it's slow or a bit chaotic!Informations complémentaires

We have a solid internet connection via satellite — strong enough for video calls, writing, emails, and other light to moderate work. Streaming or heavy uploads might be a bit tricky. The connection is available around the main house, in a common area (not a private office), so bring your headphones and a bit of flexibility. There are quiet windows during the day, especially in the mornings, and if you're happy to share your workspace with a few birds, trees, and joyful little humans running around, this might be your place

We have a peaceful, shaded spot in the woods, under olive and cork oak trees, with a beautiful view of the garden. It’s not the easiest access (a bit of countryside charm with a bumpy track and some uneven ground 😅) but doable with a bit of care and patience👍 There’s access to water nearby, and we can organize electricity if needed. It’s a quiet place, close enough to join us for meals and daily life, but with space to enjoy some privacy too. You're very welcome to stay with us!
