  Description

  We are a younger couple with a blended family. We are passionate about sustainability and life away from the mainstream busyness of the city life. Living on a small hobby farm in secluded rural Saskatchewan near two beautiful lakes gives a lot of peace and helps us to achieve our goals. This area is a vacation destination with beautiful beaches just 30 mins away and amazing fishing. On our homestead we have a dairy cow, cows, chickens, bees and many pets. We live a life where faith based traditional values meet farm to table sustainability. We are trying to raise, grow and make as much of our own food as possible and we have a lot of tasks to accomplish here on the homestead. In our spare time we enjoy hunting, fishing, foraging, beach time and walking the land and would love to share our experiences with you.
  
  We work full time in our butcher shop on the property and we need some help with the day to day homestead tasks and would love to meet and accommodate some respectable friendly people who would like to experience the homestead hobby farm Canadian life.
  
  We work hard all week and take Saturday off to rest as we honour the weekly Sabbath and we ask that no one will do any work that day also. You are free to do whatever you please just no work. You will always get Saturday and Sunday off each week.

  Experience the farm to table, homestead lifestyle and natural beauty of Saskatchewan.
  
  The cultural exchange we would provide would be involving and teaching you in the day to day aspects of our lives on the homestead and getting to know each other in the process. We would share at minimum 4 meals per week together.

  Day to day tasks which involve; cleaning, cooking, weeding, gardening, cleaning barns, yard tasks, organizing, barn tasks, small projects, painting etc.

  Modern Camper with bathroom, shower, kitchen and queen bed.
  
  We offer a private accommodation in our modern camper that has kitchen, shower, bathroom and queen bed which can best suit a couple or possible could work for 3 people depending. Access to laundry in our home will be available on set days of the week. We provide plenty of food from the farm so its important that you eat meat, eggs and dairy. We cannot accommodate dietary restrictions.

  Autres infos...

  Many beautiful sights and lakes/beaches within 30 mins if you have a vehicle but also plenty of space to walk the farm in nature. There are trails to explore and nice places for picnics and lounging. Brightsand regional park (30 mins away) has a beautiful beach and we frequently go in the summer and can give rides when we do.
