  Description

  We are a Canadian family of four, living in the picturesque town of Supetar on the island of Brač, Croatia. Our family includes two boys, aged 7 and 1, and we primarily speak English at home. Life here in Supetar is truly special—it's a small, close-knit community with a relaxed pace of life. The town is known for its charming stone streets, beautiful beaches, and stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. There's a perfect blend of traditional Croatian culture and modern living, and being on an island means you’re always close to nature, with plenty of opportunities to explore, hike, and swim.
  
  We're looking for a friendly and outgoing lady who enjoys spending time with children, playing, and teaching. If you're interested in immersing yourself in local culture, learning some Croatian, and experiencing the island lifestyle, we'd love to have you join us and help care for our little ones!

  Living with us on the island of Brač offers a truly unique cultural exchange experience. As a Canadian family, we bring our own traditions, language, and lifestyle to the table, and we’re excited to share that with someone interested in experiencing life on the beautiful Croatian coast.
  
  You’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in Croatian culture, from exploring the island’s history, local customs, and delicious food to getting involved in the small-town community of Supetar.
  
  In exchange, we’ll also introduce you to Canadian culture and our own traditions, which include a mix of outdoor adventures, beach days, and family-oriented gatherings.
  
  Additionally, you’ll be part of our household, which means you’ll experience the day-to-day life of living on a Croatian island, interacting with locals, and exploring everything Brač has to offer. You’ll have plenty of free time to explore the island on your own or join us on weekend adventures, and we encourage you to get out and connect with the local community.
  
  This is not just about helping us with childcare and household tasks; it’s about mutual exchange, where we learn from each other and create meaningful connections while you enjoy life in one of Croatia’s most scenic spots.

  We are seeking a dedicated and open-minded female Workawayer who is excited to immerse herself in new experiences and is eager to learn. We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record of helping with young children, cooking, and managing daily household tasks. A minimum commitment of at least 2 months is required.
  
  As part of our family, you will help care for our two young children (a 7-year-old boy and a 1-year-old boy). This includes playing with them, teaching them, and managing basic household duties like cooking lunch and dinner. If you don’t have experience with young children or aren’t comfortable with tasks like changing diapers, this may not be the right fit for you.
  
  We are a fun, social family and want someone who is outgoing and enjoys being part of a lively household. If you’re shy or prefer staying in the background, this may not be the best fit. You’ll be living with us, eating meals together, and having your own guest room, and access to high-speed internet. During your free time, you'll be encouraged to explore and engage with local life, and you’ll have the option to join us on weekend trips or outings.
  
  Our ideal Workawayer loves the outdoors, is comfortable playing with children, and can help with meal prep. We have various local playgrounds, backyard that has a pool and a playground. We would like to limit screen time for the kids, adn there are plenty of toys and activities available to keep them entertained. If you can commit to 20-25 hours of work per week, with the potential for extra hours (and compensation), we’d love to have you!

  Hébergement

  We offer comfortable, private accommodation in our home, designed to make you feel like part of the family while still having your own space. You’ll have your own separate guest room with a cozy bed. The room is equipped with essentials like high-speed internet, a TV, and plenty of natural light to make you feel at home.
  
  We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed, so you’ll have access to all the amenities in our home such as the pool, hot tub, cold plunge and a sauna. This of course will include the kitchen if you’d like to prepare meals or snacks, and the option to join us for family meals.
  
  We live in a beautiful, tranquil area of Supetar, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. You’ll have easy access to local shops, cafes, and the town center, as well as plenty of outdoor spaces for relaxation and exploration. We want your stay to feel both welcoming and enriching, and the accommodation is designed to ensure you have a peaceful retreat after your workday or weekend adventures.
  
  Overall, we want you to feel at home, so your space is your own but still part of our family dynamic. We’re looking forward to sharing our home with someone who will enjoy the comfort and beauty of living on Brač while contributing to our family life.
