Description
We’re a small family—my wife is from Turkey, I’m from England, and our son was born here in Estonia. We recently bought some land about 30 minutes outside Tallinn, surrounded by forest and bordered by a river.
Our aim is to turn it into a homestead using permaculture and forest farming principles. Right now, we’re in the early stages—mostly clearing space, getting to know the land, and figuring out what’s possible.
We have a general idea of what we want to do, but we’re open to suggestions. If you’re interested in helping out, sharing ideas, or just spending some time outdoors, you’re welcome. We’ve got a room for guests and a fridge you can dip into. A stay of 1 or 2 weeks would work best for us.

Visiting us is a pretty down-to-earth way to experience a bit of cultural exchange. We’re a mix of Turkish, English, and Estonian life—so conversations often bounce between languages, food traditions, and different ways of seeing the world.
You might find yourself learning how to make Turkish tea one day, chatting about British humour the next, or picking up some Estonian phrases just by being around. We’re not trying to teach anything formal—it’s more about sharing day-to-day life, working together, and swapping ideas along the way.
If you’ve got your own culture, stories, or ways of doing things, we’d love to hear about them. It’s all part of the fun of having different people pass through.Projets impliquant des enfants

We’re looking for people who enjoy being outside, don’t mind getting their hands dirty, and are curious about things like permaculture, off-grid living, or just working with nature rather than against it.
You don’t need to be an expert—just practical, open-minded, and willing to muck in. If you’ve got experience in gardening, building, forest work, or anything related, that’s great. But we also value good company, thoughtful ideas, and people who are happy to work alongside us as we figure things out.Langues parlées

The house is small and simple, but it has everything you need. It’s not fancy—just a comfortable space to cook, sleep, and relax after a day outside. There’s a warm room for guests, basic facilities, and a nice view of the forest.
We’re close to the train station, so it’s easy to head into Tallinn if you want to explore the city. It’s a peaceful spot, but still well-connected for when you need to pop into town.Autres infos...
Oh, and my wife’s a ceramist, so if you’re feeling creative, you can always get your hands on some clay and make something. It’s a nice way to unwind and try your hand at something new.
