  Description

  Kia Ora, Hello, we are a Family of 4 living on the Wild West coast of Greymouth in New Zealand. We have two children a 3 year old girl and 5 year old boy. I (Mia) am a teacher part time and a photographer part time and my Partner Jayden is a Mechanic full time. We are a laid back family who love to get out doors and are looking for some beautiful people to join our home to give our children some understanding and learning of different cultures and to help out with looking after them, school drop offs and dinners and basic cleaning. We live in a bush backed property with 3 chickens, 2 cats and our dog Spud. We are walking distance from the rugged west coast beaches, town, bush walks and cycle trails. Snow is an hour and a half drive away as well as glaciers and subtropical forests we have it all for the adventurer who loves the outdoors. We love to get out walking and 4 wheel driving and taking trips to the snow in winter as well as gardening and growing some of our own food.

  English speaking, lots of local community activities, we have skills in photography, mechanical work, teaching and some Te Reo Maori. Mia has a small photography business that I would be happy to pass on knowledge about. We are just so excited to learn more about other cultures and mostly expose our children to other languages and cultures this is important to us as parents ☺️

  Hébergement

  We have a larger living space with couch and queen bed backing onto a deck space with bush on the lower level of our home. Bathroom is shared however we have two so is mostly used by the kids during the day. Often the kids will eat separately to us we eat fairly healthy lots of meat and whole foods and vegetables. However we do like to have some more decadent treats every so often.

  You can take trains, buses or planes to Christchurch (3 hour drive away). As well as do many local hikes, bike tracks etc. Hanmer springs is a 3 hours drive away with amazing hot pools. The glaciers are 1.5 hours away and offer many hikes, walks, hot pools and epic scenery.
  
  We like to exercise, we are quite busy with projects and work so we appreciate our downtime when we have it often watching YouTube or Netflix when the kids go to bed
