  Description

  Hello, my husband Philipp, my son Vincent and I live with our dog Hazel in a house in Ulm. We bought the house three years ago and have been tinkering and screwing and repairing it ever since :) We'd like a little help with minor renovations (e.g. sanding and painting), help in the garden (we plan to build a worden cabin) and regular walks with Hazel. Last October we got our little son. So you should also be fine with little kids.
  
  We live within walking distance of the city, but we also have two cars, so that our car can be borrowed by arrangement. Ulm is close to the Alps, about 1.5 hours to Munich, Lake Constance and one hour to Stuttgart. We speak German at home, but we also speak English and a few bits of Spanish. As a workawayer, you have your own room on your own floor with your own kitchen if you want to use it. I am a professional teacher (also for German), so I am happy to help you learn the German language. We would be happy about your help, but also about your company!   Hallo, mein Mann Philipp, mein Sohn Vincent und ich leben mit unserer Hündin Hazel in einem Haus in Ulm. Wir haben das Haus vor drei Jahren gekauft und basteln und schrauben und reparieren seit dem daran rum :)
  Wir würden uns über ein wenig Hilfe bei kleineren Renovierungsarbeiten (z. B. Schleifen und streichen), Hilfe im Garten (wir wollen eine Gartenhütte bauen) und regelmäßige Spaziergänge mit Hazel.
  Wir wohnen in Laufnähe zur Stadt, wir haben aber auch zwei Autos, sodass nach Absprache auch unser Auto mal ausgeliehen werden kann. Ulm liegt nah an den Alpen, circa 1,5 Stunden nach München, an den Bodensee und eine Stunde nach Stuttgart.
  Wir sprechen zuhause Deutsch, sprechen aber auch Englisch und ein paar Brocken Spanisch.
  
  Dir als Workawayer steht ein eigenes Zimmer auf einer eigenen Etage mit eigener Küche zur Verfügung, wenn du diese nutzen möchtest.
  
  Ich bin beruflich Lehrerin (auch für Deutsch), kann also gerne helfen die deutsche Sprache zu erlernen.

  We would be happy to show you our region, and we would also take you to family celebrations and friends, if you want. Our area is also well suited, for example, to take the train to Munich, the Alps, Lake Constance or Stuttgart.   Wir zeigen dir gerne unsere Gegend, nehmen dich auch zu Familienfeiern und zu Freunden mit, wenn du das willst.
  Unsere Gegend eignet sich aber auch gut, um z.B. mit dem Zug nach München, in die Alpen, an den Bodensee oder nach Stuttgart zu fahren.
  Wenn du Deutsch lernen willst, bin ich die richtige Adresse, ich habe viel Übungsmaterial zuhause und kann gerne unterstützen.

  Aide

  We thought about 4-5 hours, usually Monday to Friday, but we can also be flexible on request. You can help especially in the garden, in the house with small renovation work (depending on your skills, painting, varnishing, sanding, etc.). Also we plan to build a stone way in the garden, so it would be great, if you could help us. And what would of course be great if you went for a walk with our dog in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon.
  
  Wir stellen uns 4-5 Stunden an fünf Tagen die Woche vor. Normalerweise Montag bis Freitag, aber nach Absprache sind wir da auch flexibel.
  Helfen kannst du vorallem im Garten, im Haus mit kleinen Renovierungsarbeiten (je nach Fähigkeiten malen, lackieren, abschleifen etc.). Wir planen auch einen Weg aus Steinen durch unseren Garten anzulegen. Es wäre toll, wenn du uns dabei helfen könntest. Was natürlich toll wäre, wenn du morgens mit unserem Hund und manchmal nachmittags spazieren gehst, denn wir sind beide berufstätig.

  Hébergement

  You have your own room with a sitting area, large bed and sink. You also have your own kitchen! :) In principle, the top floor is available to you alone. But our house also has many other beautiful corners that we cannot all use as a couple, for example a beautiful winter garden that leads to a large garden.
  
  Du hast ein eigenes Zimmer mit Sitzecke, großem Bett und Waschbecken. Außerdem hast du eine eigene Küche! :) Im Prinzip steht dir das Dachgeschoss alleine zur Verfügung.
  Unser Haus hat aber auch sonst viele schöne Ecken, die wir zu zweit gar nicht alle nutzen können, z.B. einen wunderschönen Wintergarten, der zu einem großen Garten hinausgeht.
