Hi! I'm Alessandra, an aspiring long-term traveler. After years of becoming an engineer, following the expectations of the world around me, I decided to try to overturn all those expectations, starting to discover myself and doing what really interests me. I was incredibly lucky to find my boyfriend, Simone, a person with the same adventurous spirit and willingness to take risks, with whom I discovered and rediscovered many passions. Together we want to try to pursue the dream of a wild journey full of beauty and nature, meeting new and interesting people and growing in our manual and social skills, in self-respect and self-discovery.
Besides traveling, we have numerous hobbies. For example, I enjoy cooking, being with animals, crocheting, knitting, singing, reading and designing, both small things like jewelry or furnishings, and large interventions, such as green arrangements, parks and squares (as I did in my job as an engineer). Simone likes working with wood, creating small handmade objects, gardening and designing and creating with his own hands green spaces, and in particular he would like to delve deeper into the topic of bio-pools. We support each other a lot in our projects and often carry them out side by side. However, we are enthusiastic to throw ourselves into new activities and discover what new things might be right for us.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Alessandra’ technical skills: Engineering and green design, product design, project management, cooking, cleaning and housekeeping, planning, crochet, knitting, baby and pet sitting, handcrafting and practical learning.

Simone’s technical skills: Engineering and green design, woodworking, handcrafting, gardening, household maintenance, cooking and practical learning.

We both understand English pretty well, but we need to practice to speak fluently. We think our skills are complementary and we have a lot of creative and manual potential, so we form a great and versatile team!

We are both introverts but express ourselves very differently. Me, Alessandra, I am very outgoing once I feel comfortable and tend to overshare quickly to get to know people better, although I sometimes need to isolate myself and have my own space. Simone, on the other hand, is typically quiet but becomes talkative when given the right topic or people, demonstrating his resourcefulness and passionate knowledge. We love spending quality time with people and with each other: we prefer an afternoon building a chicken coop rather than going out for drinks. We enjoy board games, audiobooks, and collecting flowers and leaves to dry. We believe that keeping our minds and bodies occupied with manual and physical tasks is the best way to maintain us healthy both mentally and physically.
