Description
Hello! My name is Angela, and I'm thrilled at the chance to meet new people and experience another culture through Workaway. I currently work as a paramedic, a job I love because it allows me to help people and be part of my community in a meaningful way. I was recently accepted into medical school in the U.S., and I'll be starting in August. Before diving into my studies, I’m looking forward to traveling and immersing myself in a Spanish-speaking environment to improve my language skills. I studied Spanish in school, so I’d describe myself as intermediate, and I’m excited to become more fluent.
I’m someone who truly enjoys learning, whether it’s academics, language, or life skills. I also love skiing, running, and spending time with my family—my three siblings and many cousins are very close.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I bring a diverse range of skills and experience that make me well-suited for caregiving, tutoring, and general household assistance. Over the past four years, I have trained and worked as a paramedic, which has given me advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in providing care to patients of all ages in emergency situations. This background has helped me develop strong communication, problem-solving, and first-aid skills, as well as the ability to stay calm and composed under pressure.
Additionally, I have experience as a tutor and course instructor. I’ve worked with a wide range of students, helping them grasp difficult concepts, particularly in the fields of science, as I have dedicated much of my time to studying for medical school.
In terms of household skills, I am more than capable of performing a range of tasks such as cooking basic meals, doing laundry, and keeping the house tidy. I have also acted as a babysitter from the time I was in high school for neighbors, cousins and my younger siblings.
