Description

I’m Arne, 25 years old, from northern Germany, where I live in the small village of Rathlau with my family. We run an organic farm with 40 milk cows and 80 hectares of land. I completed my training as a farmer and now study social work in my 5th semester. I help on the farm, from milking cows to driving tractors, and assist with our family’s holiday apartments, where I enjoy meeting people from all over the world.

Music is a big part of my life, especially 80s music like Creedence Clearwater Revival and Dire Straits. I play the piano, used to sing in my school choir, and I’ve enjoyed partner dancing for a few years. Staying active is important to me, and I do fitness regularly. I love new experiences, having traveled through Europe by train with friends. My friends describe me as open-minded, optimistic, and ready to learn from others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- I have quite big experience in caring for animals,for instance I am melking sometimes the cows on our farm. But we have also animals like donkeys, goats, pigs, sheeps, rabbits, guniea pigs, chickens, cats and dogs,which I also take care of.
- I can handle all kind of machines on our farm, from the tractor to the string trimme.
- I like to work with my hands, from things like cooking or baking to working with wood
- In my youth I build many thinks with wood and repaired old riding mowers
- I love to communiucate with people and like to speak about deep topics.
- I can help in all kind of renovation pojects (woodwork, sparkling, painting)
