Hello, my name is Asja, I am almost 27 years old and I want to get to know the world.
I live in a wonderful place (northern Italy), but it has given me all it could and so have I. It's a bit as if our relationship had been over for years but no one had the courage to leave, out of habit, out of fear of the unknown.
I'm afraid of many things and I love just as many things about life, so I'm here to do them all. I studied literature at university, I used to read a lot, something I stopped doing in recent years because of studies and lack of time (now I am finally rediscovering the pleasure of it), I love music, of all genres, depending on my mood, good cinema (but in moments of total relaxation my guilty pleasure are teenage TV series, oops) and doing everything with my friends, who are the most talented and inspiring people I have ever met.
I have a hard time describing myself, because some sides of my personality contradict each other, for example: I am a sociable person, I believe that the greatest fortune in life is to come into contact with other human beings, but I am also an introverted person, who needs her own time and space to find her balance. I love being immersed in nature, I take refuge there to find peace (yet I am afraid of insects). I have a sweet tooth and do little sport...badly...but I'm trying to improve!
In other words, I am a lot of things and maybe still nothing... and that's exactly why I want to leave, to find it out.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My dream is to organize events, to become an event planner, and I am studying to make it a profession. So, whatever situation requires organization, attention to detail and time management -- here I am, ready! In college, I studied English and Spanish literature. For a couple of years I worked as a waitress and coat check girl in a pub/restaurant. For the past 5 years I have been devoting most of my free time to play an active role in an association called ARCI, which deals with active citizenship and cultural projects aimed at young people (dealing with topics such as: corruption, mafia/antimafia, collective memory, World War II, war of former Yugoslavia, years of great political changes and terrorism in Italy, discrimination, etc. (I traveled often then, between Sicily, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Prague, first as a participant and then as a tutor). Also, I am half Serbian :) For the past couple of years I have also been holding workshops in schools, again on social and current issues, to discuss with young people the importance of cultivating memory and the weight of the individual in society. All topics that are very close to my heart.
I am quite good with children, having babysat for several years. I would like to learn more about everything: plants, ecosystem, animals, boats, baking, ceramics, philosophy, music, how movies are made, how gummies are made, dinosaurs. I'm interested in everything.
I don't have much physical ability :( but give me a few days and I will learn--the will is there. Painting, gardening, tidying, organizing, cooking--I can do it! Anyway, I like to be able to be useful and help, so tell me what to do and I will do my best!

ps. I actually smoke (a little), but it's not a problem for me to quit for the time we'll spend together if it really bothers someone (that's why I put “non-smoker”).
