Description

We are Baby-Boomers! Boomers are retired, but not tired. We active seniors in cycling, swimming and running/ hiking and of course, pickleball.
During my career of 38 years, I was a chiropractor and also, a Naturopathic Doctor.
As a young man I was a fitness consultant, a ski instructor and played ice hockey.
My wife and I have been married 40 years. We have 3 wonderful sons and recently, 2 granddaughters.
I love to help people with solutions to their health issues and steps to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Languages:
I am fluent in English and French.
Evelyn is fluent in English and Spanish, and is learning Italian. She is skilled in nutrition/ exercise and leads by example in how to start a healthy life-style.
She is an actress by nature and loves to play games like charades.

Housesitting:
We are flexible for dates, to be available for House-sitting. We have owned different homes during our 40 years together. We have knowledge and experience in maintaining house and yard/ garden.
In our younger years, we owned/ operated an apple orchard with 16,000 trees, Ambrosia and Royal Gala apples. We are familiar with the challenges of operating an agricultural business.
We have been Airbnb Super Hosts for over 10 years in our home. We loved hosting and learning about other cultures.

Baby-Boomers:
We have a strong work ethic, and are diligent , conscientious and trust-worthy in all we do. In the past, we cared for our elder parents and understand the essential need for friendly companionship with elders.
As Boomers, we look forward to interact with multi-generations and share each other's experiences and stories.
This is our first year with Workaway and we are amazed at the opportunities which await us in 2025.

I have 38 years in my career of healthcare as a Naturopathic physician and a chiropractor. I counseled patients in their emotional issues and how this affects their physical well-being. I love helping people understand their complex layers of health, emotional states, nutrition / exercise on their journey to wellness in mind, soul and body.
As homeowners of different homes over the past 40 years we have the knowledge /
experience in house repairs and maintenance.
We were Airbnb Super-hosts for 12 years. We loved hosting and learning from people from many countries.
We owned/ operated an apple orchard with 16,000 trees so we understand the challenges of an agricultural business.
Sports and outdoor recreation has been a major part of our lives, and we have participated in many triathlons. As we were raising our3 sons , our family participated in many many outdoor activities like hiking, camping, kayaking. As active seniors we would like the opportunity to share our experiences on Workaway, and learn from the hosts we interact with in their culture.

My wife and I have been super-hosts on Airbnb in our home for about 10 years. We loved hosting people and learning about their countries. We have cycled in France in 4 different regions and cycled in Italy in both the north and south.
We have traveled in a campervan in Australia and New Zealand.
As a young man in the 1980's I traveled in Morocco, and then had the opportunity to return to Morocco with my wife in 2018. As seniors, we love to interact with the younger generation and hear about their lives and perceptions of the world.
