Hello!
Myself (charlotte, 28yrs old) and my partner Andrew (29yrs old) are currently taking a year out from our jobs back in Edinburgh (Scotland) to travel around Australia/New Zealand and South East Asia.
Our professional backgrounds are in nursing and secondary school sports teaching. We have taken a year out as we love travelling and exploring new places and cultures. We both love the outdoors and surrounding ourselves in nature. My hobbies include hiking, camping, reading, music and being in and around the ocean. Andrew also enjoys hiking and camping, as well as taking part in a range of sports (Running, Rugby, Football).
We came across workaway and thought it'd be a great opportunity for us to meet new people, whilst learning new skills and seeing different parts of the country.

At school I studied French and Andrew studied German. We still know a couple of phrases from both of the languages but fell out of practice with them. We would both be keen to learn about other languages and cultures though if the opportunity arose.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We have had various roles in the past including working in cafes, retail and housekeeping prior to our jobs as a teacher and nurse. We also enjoy working with our hands and always keen to learn new skills.
Charlotte grew up on a farm but would love to learn more about working with animals and plants. We would both appreciate any tips in DIY and are keen to learn new practical skills.
