Hi! I’m Daniel González, a 25-year-old traveler who loves making friends, learning from everything around me, and exploring new experiences. I’m passionate about gaining knowledge in different fields, and I believe the best way to do so is by traveling and collaborating on projects around the world.

I’m a geographer by training and have worked in several companies, but recently, I decided to leave it all behind to embark on a journey with no fixed destination. Right now, I’m based in Siem Reap while exploring Southeast Asia, immersing myself in new cultures and discovering different ways of life.

My background in Geography and Land Management has given me a broad perspective of the world, combining nature-related aspects with disciplines like economics, demography, cartography, and geographic information systems. However, beyond academics, what truly excites me is experiencing authentic moments, meeting incredible people, and creating lifelong memories.

I also have a passion for languages and always try to learn a bit of the local language wherever I go. I’m fluent in Spanish and English and currently learning Khmer. Additionally, I’m a climbing enthusiast and always up for a good chat or a new adventure.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I consider myself a fast learner and an innovative person, always ready to collaborate on any project within my reach. Since I was a child, I have loved building things and creating new ideas.

I have a strong interest in mechanics, especially motorcycles and cars. While I’m not an expert, I’ve enjoyed working on and tinkering with motorbikes over the years. Additionally, I have a passion for DIY projects and woodworking. I’m skilled with tools and have built wooden structures like bed frames, fences, and other small constructions. While my experience is mainly with wood, I’m always eager to learn more about construction and handyman work.

I also have strong technical skills, particularly in computer science, databases, and cartography software. Currently, I’m taking the CS50 programming course to deepen my knowledge in coding. I’m very interested in the digital nomad lifestyle and exploring opportunities to work remotely while traveling the world.

Beyond that, I have extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Since the age of 16, I have worked in various roles, including in bars, restaurants, and as a delivery driver.

With my mix of practical skills, technical knowledge, and a passion for hands-on work, I’m always excited to take on new challenges and contribute to different projects.
