Hi I'm Ethan. Nice to meet you!
I'm 29 years old, and am keen to travel more, meet interesting people doing interesting and worthwhile things, experience different cultures, learn new skills and see beautiful places. I would love to work with animals and help make the world a better place.

I was born in Stourbridge, but grew up in Malvern, and have lived and worked in South Wales, Portsmouth, Guernsey and Bristol. At the moment I'm temporarily in Cornwall saving for a new adventure abroard.

I am naturally sociable, enjoy meeting new people and am fascinated by how different people can be. Im hard working, motivated and like a challenge! I'm able to work independently but also like to be part of a team. I especially love nature and animals - particularly dogs. We as people have so much to learn from these amazing and loving creatures.

In my free time I lenjoy listening to music, playing sports (love skiing), walking and playing with my relatives dogs, hiking up mountains and along the coast, cycling, and cooking.

I am taking a break from work to explore the possibilities for a change of lifestyle.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a good knowledge of being around dogs and horses as they have always been in my life. I grew up with dogs , and my relatives that I visit frequently have dogs and horses. My aunt owns a riding stables and school with many horses and I help out there, and on a neighbouring farm with horses, cows and goats whenever I visit. This invoves mucking out, putting up fences and general DIY work. For just over a year, I worked at a vetinary practice in South Wales where I spent time on reception, cleaned cages for the animals being treated, and at critcal times assisted in the surgery. I learned how the animals were treated for various complaints and how to care for them while they recovered.

Since working at the vets, I have been involved with more hands-on-work. I spent a few years making window frames from upvc in Portsmouth, and 11 months as a construction labourer in Guernsey working on building projects, demolition, landscaping, groundswork, and driving a tipper-truck. More recently I worked in Bristol, again making window frames from upvc, and as a labourer making specialised mortar and helping with deliveries for a stone masonary company. This hands-on-work experience has given me a good grounding in building work and estate maintenance and development.
