Hello dear community! :)

I am a dynamic and hyperactive person who has many interest ! I am a graduate in nature guiding (at the moment I am a marine biology guide in the summer) and I love discovering new things, learn a new trick, go on unplanned adventures and test my limits. I always need to move around, do sport, dance like there is no tomorrow and have a dose of adrenaline from time to time. I do love spending time in nature, go hiking or camping. I am also a very artistic person : i draw, paint, print, and always carry my camera with me. Animals have always been a part of my life, at home but also at work (on a farm). A bit of zootherapy is always appreciated! On top of that, I love meeting new people and make new connections. I did a lot of volunteering in my home country and around the world ; sharing and helping people around brings me joy, energy and always good memories. I find it motivating to put myself out of my comfort zone and Workaway is the perfect community to help me find new opportunities and project to work on while meeting people :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a graduate natural environment technician working during the tourist season in Canada as a marine biology guide. I assist whale watching groups on boats, and do interpretation of invertebrate of the sea in national parks. I am in love with nature, and working as a guide allows me to share my interest for nature conservation with people! I also worked a lot with children : as a dance teacher, camp counselor, librarian in a primary school, guide in school trip...

As an animal lover, I also worked for 3 years in a farm with cows and chickens. My family is also host for young dogs that are ought to be trained for visualy impared people or autistic children. We raise them and train them basic skills so they can be selected for working dogs.

I also moved abroad for about a year, in Europe, where I worked in Berlin as a vegan cook in a coffee shop (where I learned basic German). I do love good food and I am very sensitive about food waste. About that, I took up a project of food saving for students and people in need in the city I was studying and was volunteering a lot in soup kitchen.I did the same in Berlin for a community project bringing 'food savers' together and cooking vegan recipe for less fortunates. Good food always bring people together !

I am a very active person and I am used to do very long work days (sometimes even 14 hours shift) and I love going to bed feeling tired and having done something with my day. I am not afraid of hard work, dirt, rain, insects or else ! I love challenges ! Keeps me motivated !
