Description

My name is Gigi and I am an ambitious, 25 y/o humanitarian aid worker from New York. I love backpacking, traveling, hiking, gardening, animals, helping people, and learning new things to keep the creativity and genuine stories alive. When I travel, I love to meet the locals and immerse myself in all kinds of diverse cultures. I am always learning and open to new experiences and cultures, and I try to live life to the fullest. I also speak fluent Haitian-Creole and am currently learning French so id love to exchange culture and languages.

Since the age of 15 I have been traveling and working with nonprofit organizations in different capacities. I am passionate about advocating for global health, humanitarian aid movements, human rights, and so much more among marginalized countries and communities. Im currently working to create a consulting business that works with nonprofits to build and run effective and sustainable programs that truly help people and make an impact. I have worked with non profits for years and have experience in volunteering, program managing, fundraising, advocacy, social media, web management, research, and more.

Outside of my non-profit work, I also love to gardening, DIY projects, animals and hiking, cooking, and of course traveling and exploring new places.

I am a social introvert and a hard worker while understanding everyone has lives and responsibilities of their own, so I'm perfectly fine with being as self sufficient as needed, and can do work/projects without needing to take up all your time with constant over site.

Id love to find an opportunity where I can help people with their projects and lives through my experience and other skills while having a fun, well rounded time in a new place. I look forward to learning and growing together!
