Description

Coming from a small village in the Highlands of Scotland. I love working with children, following their interests to learn through play and the outdoors. I am eager to invest my time and skills in especially in the humanitarian sector, to take action and work alongside displaced communities.
I also enjoy being outdoors as much as possible, meeting with friends and keeping busy!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Having worked full time with children in Early Years for 4 years, I am a very patient and understanding individual, I follow child led approach - play pedagogy and outdoor play are the basis of my work.
I am currently travelling in South and Central America, learning Spanish and volunteering with different NGOs working with displaced people and lower income communities.
I have previously volunteered in Greece, supporting displaced people and vulnerable individuals and families in the local town.
I have spent time in Senegal where I learnt to speak and understand some basic French and learnt to communicate in their native language, Wolof. I am keen to learn new languages on my placement.
Previously I have worked in hospitality, both waitressing and housekeeping, I am hardworking with good socials skills.
