Hello lovely people! I am Ioana, 25 years old and I live in the wonderful south of Germany, where I am also working towards my future goal: I am studying social work in order to work with people and help them afterwards. I have always been enthusiastic about meeting new people, cultural exchange and sharing stories. I would say that collecting stories is also one of my passions, besides taking care of my houseplants and making music. I currently live in a shared flat with two women who are also social workers.
I found out about workaway through a friend and think it's a great way to combine traveling, which I love more than anything, with my passion for cultural and human exchange. The skills I bring with me thanks to my professional experience and my studies are therefore primarily to be found in education. I love working with children and families. Basically, however, I am also a very adaptable person and help out with anything that is needed: Cooking, painting, cleaning or playing with animals. I am not squeamish and am not afraid of hard work! So: let's tell stories and learn about each other!

Next semester i will be taking spanish at uni, so i would love to learn some spanish! however, I am open to anything and have no specific preferences otherwise. I can teach: German, Romanian and English

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Through several jobs in my past I was able to gain a lot of experience with working with children of almost every age group. I am empathetic, patient and have professional skills in pedagogical work. I am also motivated to learn new things and am not afraid of hard work. I was also able to acquire some cooking skills by living with a real chef. I am open to everything and am also enthusiastic about working in nature, especially working with plants.

As already mentioned, I love my houseplants more than anything and look after them very lovingly. Another passion is music: I like to go to concerts, play the piano and a little ukulele myself and love to sing together! Music brings people together, just like good food, which I also enjoy with a passion. My favorite cuisine is Italian, but I'm open to everything here too. I would say that good food is also one of the main reasons I travel.
