Kia Ora! I’m Jamie - I am in my 20s and focused on travel and career right now. I have a passion for hospitality and all things ocean. I love music, boating, art and culture and want my life to be a story worth telling.
Heya!! I am Lily. I am 20 years old and love surfing, photography, sailing, snowboarding, reading, music, talking to different people, learning new things, and being creative! When I travel I look to embrace the culture, change my perspective and grow as a person. My aspiration is to travel in a sustainable, giving-back sort of way. Throughout my travels thus far I have felt so blessed to experience so much hospitality and love and I want to be able to pay it forward in any way I can! I am interested in permaculture, sailing, teaching, more practical skills and any sort of creativity! My dream is to be fluent in Indonesian but I love to give it a go with all languages.

We can teach English! I (Lily) studied English first year at Uni and plan on continuing once I return home due to my passion for it. I am learning Indonesian and french and am very open to all others. Jamie is learning Maori and Japanese and equally loves learning and teaching.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Jamie: I have a hotel management diploma and 4 years of experience in hospitality, tourism and events. Some of my strengths include people and communication skills, passion for learning, empathy and emotional intelligence, organisation and time management. I am physically fit and able to do exhausting jobs. Some hard skills of mine include bartending, coffee making, silver service, food handling, wine service and knowledge, group leadership, accounting, radio etiquette and first aid. I can also speak a little bit of Japanese and Te Reo Māori, but I’m only fluent in English.
Lily: I have spent most of my life working in hospitality and have developed a real love of people and serving others. I am a barista, bartender, worked in a dessert factory, I have housekept and worked front of house for a ski in ski out hotel in Japan and have spent time volunteering planting trees and dunes in New Zealand. I have my PADI Rescue Diver certificate, know how to lead belay rock-climbing and have spent a bit of time growing up sailing boats (though not enough in my opinion and am so open to learning more as it is my dream to one day live on a sail boat). I have travelled around Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan and intend to keep going with the intention of helping wherever, however possible before settling down to University.
