Description

I’m taking a year off work to explore the world, with a particular focus on Canada. I’m passionate about meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and gathering knowledge that will allow me to explore more of Canada. That's why I’ve joined Workaway – to experience life outside the office and spend as much time as possible in nature, slowing down from the fast-paced career rat race.

Back home, I work as a packaging engineer, focusing on designing packaging that limits waste and encourages recycling, although I’m currently working for a large corporation in an office with a view of another building. I’m excited for this time away, as it will allow me to reconnect with nature and explore a simpler, more fulfilling lifestyle.

A bit about me: I’m a creative person who spends a lot of time with my head in a book (or Kindle when I’m traveling). I’ve always loved painting and enjoy any creative activities. My degree was in fashion marketing and management, and I’ve always had an interest in design and creativity. When I’m at home, I love socializing with friends and enjoying weekend park runs, followed by a coffee and croissant. I’m a bubbly, chatty person – just make sure I’ve had my morning coffee, and I’m ready to get things done!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a keen eye for detail. Anything painting I’m all over it. I am not afraid of heavy lifting, helps keep up the fitness and gym work! I’ve tried many times to learn Spanish and French, it’s still rusty. I love cooking and baking but just don’t ask me when it’s ready as my timings are not the best. My computer skills are good having spent everyday on one for the past 8 years…
