Description
Hi, We are Jana & Tom. Jana is a landscape architect and avid gardener, and Tom retired airline pilot, woodworker and handyman. We have simplified our life and sold most of our belongings. We left our urban permaculture oasis in Reno, Nevada USA behind in order to travel the world.
We are passionate about healthy, local food, renewable energy, sustainable transportation, plants, animals, meeting new people and making new friends.
We hope to contribute to communities as we travel the world. Learning and teaching as we go.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Jana, who grew up in the Netherlands, is a Landscape Architect specializing in pollinator gardens, native plants, and edible landscapes using permaculture techniques. As a child she rode horses often and loved spending time at her grandparents’ farm. She received her Masters degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan in 2006 and has owned a successful Landscape Architecture business in Reno Nevada for the last 10 years.
Tom is originally from Atlanta, Georgia (USA), started his career as a commercial pilot and flew for over 25 years. He is now an aspiring woodworker, knowledgeable about renewable energy systems, construction and permaculture techniques.
We are both passionate about living lightly on the earth and spending time in nature.
