Description
Hey we're Jeanne and Sidy!
We're both people who loves to bring light wherever we go!
To describe me (Jeanne), I truly believe in kindness, and I'm never disappointed when I travel because I always meet wonderful people along the way. Crossing Canada hitchikking 2 years ago is the beginning of a passion for travelling and discover new horizons.
I'm naturally positive and genuinely care about others, which is why I chose to become a nurse. I'm passionate about what I do, and I've specialized in caring for babies — especially newborns and prematurity. They are so cute and need so much love! Learning the language of babies is part of my everyday life, and I'm getting pretty good at it!
I also went to Québec 4 years ago to study nursing because of a child dream... Canada has always been my dream destination ever since a childhood trip to Vancouver with my parents. I did everything I could to make that dream come true! I lived in Saguenay, where I spent three amazing years before moving to Montréal, and those were some of the happiest days of my life.
I absolutely loved living in a far region. The countryside, the easy access to nature, and the warm, welcoming vibe of smaller communities really spoke to me. I'm also a huge fan of winter sports sooo it's the place to be!
Another thing about me, I have 6 roomates in a big flat and I love them so much! Living in a shared flat is really important to me because I truly believe we're stronger together. I love sharing moments and projects with my housemates like creating a vegetable garden, going on bike or ski trips, cooking meals together, or even doing small renovations around the apartment. It's always great time that we spend together!
and about me (Sidy)
I'm from Guinea, and I came to Montréal, Canada three years ago to pursue my studies. I met Jeanne by chance through a friend, and we've been together for a year now. I really enjoy being around people because I come from a big family, so living in a community makes me feel good.
I'm very interested to learn more about agriculture, especially since my father have a farm back in Guinea. I'm also learning English but I'm just at a beginner level so I take it with patience! It will be a pleasure to meet you soon, hopefully!Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I’m full of curiosity and ready to do whatever it takes because I’m eager to learn! I love hands-on work and being outdoors, but I’m also happy to stay inside and help around the house. I absolutely enjoy working in the fields, getting my hands in the dirt, even when the weather isn’t great! For several years, I volunteered at a small countryside equestrian center, where I learned how to care for animals and work in the fields. I also enjoy helping with practical tasks around the house. Of course, I love taking care of kids and spending time playing with them. I'm also a good cook and I will love to try some new recipes from the place I visit.

Autres infos...
I really like to read books, one of my favorite one was "Americanah" from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, a Nigerian autor. At the moment, I enjoy reading novels that explore the experiences of Indigenous peoples, like the book "Unna", which tells the story of the assimilation of Indigenous peoples in the northern former USSR, or "The Art of Losing" by Alice Zeniter, which focuses on the Algerian War of Independence. I love reading because it allows me to travel through time and places, and discover perspectives that are often silenced in history.
I also play the flute in a group where we perform Latin music, like songs by Susana Baca. I absolutely love making music with others, and the flute is such a beautiful accompaniment!Informations complémentaires
