I’m Jia, and I just finished two years of working holidays in New Zealand and Australia. Now I’m traveling around South America—something I’ve been dreaming about since university.
I love exploring new places, meeting people, and picking up random skills along the way. Whether it’s learning a local recipe, fixing something with my hands, or just having a good conversation, those little moments make traveling special for me. Every place I visit leaves me with great memories and new friendships, and I’m excited for more!

I can teach Chinese, and since I’ve lived in English-speaking countries, we can also practice English together. I want to learn more about Latin America, I’d love to spend at least two hours a day improving my Spanish!

I grew up in the countryside with my grandma, helping with the homestead life.Later, I worked as a cook on a cattle station for nine months, feeding hungry cowboys—though I’m more into vegetarian food! I also cared for the chickens and garden.
Living in my campervan has made me more handy too—flat batteries, flat tires… But there’s always more to learn, and I’m excited to pick up new skills along the way!
