I am Johanna (33) and am taking a break from my Job (social-sustainable urban developement) to skip the winter in Berlin. My main mission in this time is get to know Italy&its language

Ciao ragazzi,
renewing this subscription is already giving me a big smile. The short story of why it took me so long to be back on workaway is that I liked my job (as a transformationmanager in the field of social urban developement) maybe a little too much and forgot about the importance of adventure and travelling. Now I am taking a break to skip the grey winter in Berlin and I would love to spend it in Sicily.
Apart from sun, I am hoping to find the courage to start speaking Italian (as I do understand most of it if spoken abbastanza lentamente). That is why I am looking for a place with communicative and patient Italians :)
Brevemente su di me: I am a farmers grandchild and a gardeners daughter, which is why I love to be in the nature and with animals. Being the eldest sister of five, I am very socialable and responsible (and a quite experienced cook). I love animals, music and table tennis as well as football. Social and (therefore) environmental justice are crucial values to me.
A couple of examples of where I worked away in the past would be: farmwork and ecoprojects, constructionprojects, house/pet-sitting, language-teaching and hostility/tourism.
For this stay I am quite flexible what to work- I just want to be outside (in the nature) as much as possible and don't want to work on the computer. As I neither fly nor have a car and am not used to driving, I am dependent on public transportation.
I can be in Sicily from 26.2.-12.3. and 19.03.-9.4. (I have to be at a very important birthday in Rome in the week between).
I am so excited to get to know Sicily and the great projects, lifes and perspectives of yours :)
