Hi all. Nice to meet you. We are a couple, one British and one American, in out early 40s currently based in the U.K. We've been together about 13 years and got married in Iceland back in 2016. We both work in international development and travel quite a bit for work as well as pleasure. We originally met in South Korea as teachers where we stayed for about 5 years before moving to Taiwan, Myanmar, and eventually back to the U.K. where John is from.
We're both working professionals and love travelling, reading, hiking and learning about other cultures. We're both hard workers and are very willing to help out wherever is most needed. We're very happy in both the city and the countryside.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We both grew up close to rural areas, Dorset in the UK (John) and Colorado in the U.S. (John), and so are very used and comfortable with working outside. We both have travelled and worked in lots of places around the world with Erica spending 4 years in Zambia as a Peace Corps volunteer with 2 years spent living in the village. John has amateur woodworking skills and both of us are comfortable with a range of tasks whether it be gardening, farming, building or other outdoor tasks.
We are both ex-teachers and have lived and worked in multiple countries across the world with a mix of cultures. We currently both work in the field of international development and are at home working alongside from people from all backgrounds.
We both believe strongly in community and working together which we have done in a number of volunteer roles across the years.

We both love playing board games. We don't have a particular favourites and are always up for learning and playing new ones. We also both are avid readers and love to share and receive recommendations on good books. John enjoys playing football and cricket but will also gamely join in any sports that are going on (even if he might be pretty terrible). Erica knits and has done a number of projects over the years. We obviously love to travel and also enjoy hiking whenever we get the opportunity.
