Hey there!
I started traveling for the first time on my own in 2023. Since many years I was dreaming of doing a journey like this, but it took some time to take courage and actually start. I planed to cross the American continent from North to South, but plans changed a lot. After some time traveling and volunteering in Iceland, Canada and the US, I got the opportunity to join the NGO Sea Shepherd in a campaign in West Africa. I couldn't resist and went there for 3 1/2 month, sailing along the West African coast and assisted the fight against illegal fishing as a videographer. Since then I joined another campaign in the Mediterranean Sea, also as a videographer on one of the ships. This really became my passion, to turn my job as a media person in something with a purpose, to help animals and fight for a better and more sustainable future. I feel happy at the ocean, the vastness, the meditative space it brings inside and outside of you... but also enjoy the other parts and places of our world so much, like deserts, jungles and mountains.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
In my life apart from traveling and working with Sea Shepherd, I'm a video editor and videographer, specialized in Visual Effects, so I can help you in creating great videos. Since a few years I shifted more in producing videos, e.g. a documentary about alternative agriculture and agroforestry or creating videos about stuff I'm really interested in (nature, society, dance, art, music, philosophy for example). Some years ago (2021/22) I made an education to become a paramedic assistant, learned fascinating and thoughtful stuff about emergency medicine, something, I'm also really interested in. In general I am a person, who always is looking for opportunities to learn new things, to develop myself mentally and physically and who likes to learn from others, but also to share my knowledge.
On the first part of my trip in Western Europe I worked on a farm, doing some gardening and carpentry things - I really enjoyed the time outside and to do something with my hands and body - something, I didn't like about my profession as a video editor. So I decided to do both - working outside, filming, editing (inside), a great mix!:) I then helped people with editing videos in Canada, Iceland and the US, but all kinds of projects like daily chores, construction, agricultural work.
