Description
Hello! We are Kate and Will, a couple from Leeds in the North of England. We met whilst at university and have been together 8 years, and are looking forward to getting married in 2026! We both work in healthcare (Kate as a Hospital Clinical Pharmacist and Will as a Paramedic) but have packed up our lives to spend 2025 travelling around the beautiful country of Canada. We are keen to experience as much as possible and learn about the country's history and culture, therefore we feel that a homestay experience would be perfect for us to immerse ourselves in local life. We are happy to help out with most jobs such as animal care, home maintenance, cooking, cleaning and gardening. In our spare time we love to explore nature through hiking, cycling and other outdoor activities. We will always be 100% respectful of your home and treat it with the care that we would our own. Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We are both pretty good at cooking (vegetarian meals only) and baking. Will has experience with household maintenance and DIY, and will give most things a go. We are both very clean people and happy to help with any cleaning around the home. Also happy to do gardening tasks such as weeding, planting, transplanting, yard maintenance, mowing the lawn, preparing/storing firewood etc. We are also proficient with IT and can help with digital tasks if needed.
