I HAVE 100% ENJOYED LEARNING, BUILDING AND COLLABORATING THROUGH MY WORKAWAY EXPERIENCES!

Enriching lives is a source of joy for me. As the middle child of a transient family of nine, moving from New York City to more rural areas, I responded to a calling early in life; helping a neighbor, a farmer or an injured animal.

I am active in the arts, nature exploration, healthy living, resort park development and maintenance, teaching and volunteerism - especially where there is a real need for support.

When summer arrives, I shift my attention to our family-owned ten-acre seasonal park on the St. Lawrence River just south of the Canadian border. Here we work as a team tending to guests and general buildings and grounds maintenance, especially gardens and boat docks. We close the park for the season each fall.

I'm excited to form new relationships and assist in developing creative, earth friendly concepts. Although I'm an accomplished stained glass craftsman, I dabble in other art forms and music making almost daily and pick up my uke, a paint brush or repurposed materials for creating something functional. I've also painted a variety of murals.

I'm a serious nature enthusiast; I love to be out in it - especially helping others discover local flora and fauna. This is the perfect place to express my passion for teaching and learning. I'm also happy being creative in the kitchen.

I like to be active; running, hiking, kayaking, biking, gardening, collecting things in my environment that can be repurposed for function and/or decoration.

I'm an open-minded guy, and friends and family know that I rarely decline an opportunity for an adventure or to try something new. I have enjoyed several experiences as a Workawayer in the US Virgin Islands, Mexico and Canada.
