Description

I got my Dutch visa🧡 New chapter in my life, going to live long in this country!
- What is my story behind?
I am Persian from Esfahan. I decided to move abroad to Italy in 2017 to study and start exploring Europe. When I was a kid, I used to find people in Yahoo! Messenger from all over the world and have conversation with them. So, I was curious to live abroad and get familiar with cultures, languages, food, history, and so on. I travelled a lot during my stay in Italy; not only within this beautiful country, but also around Europe. I travelled to Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and Czechia until Covid arrived and everything collapsed temporarily. I mostly travelled using CouchSurfing because I wanted to get to know people and their lives. It was a unique experience for me to solo-travel and discover amazing places, food, and people. Well, I had to study and finish my master, so I could not travel more to other countries such as Austria, Spain, France, and Portugal. Also, Covid-19 pandemic was a big pause in my adventure life.
After staying in Italy for 4 years, I finally decided to move to Austria in 2021. I was fascinated by the nature in this country and it became kind of a new hobby for me to hike and run in nature and I think Austria is one of the best countries in Europe to live. Beautiful mountains, forests and amazing nature, all healed my soul and provided me refreshing energy. Due to my studies, I had to move to Czechia in 2022. I never imagined living in this country for a year and what an opportunity it was. Central Europe vibes are so different than western part and I experienced that totally. My friends and I had chances to ride bikes in forests, enjoy various types of meals, and meet new people.
- What about now?
I had amazing experience with CouchSurfing before. It was totally worth it. I met dozens of amazing people and listening to their stories made me wonder like how people are adventurous, what are they living for, what their interests are, their hobbies, and so many other things.
On the other hand, I visited my workawayer friend some months ago in Switzerland. The family that host him were on the trip for a month and they allowed him to host me. I had the chance to take care of beautiful huskies, help my friend to organize and handle minor daily tasks. I didn't meet the family but as much as I heard from my friend about how it was going so far, I got more motivated to experience Workaway.
Therefore, I experienced my first Workaway in Seeboden, Austria for 5 weeks. Such an experience it was! You can read about it in the feeback section.
I did my second workaway experience in Biedenkopf, near Marburg, in Germany. Different tasks I took care of, you can read about it in my feedback section as well ☺️
- So, in nutshell, what motivates me and brings me happiness?
Meeting people, living their lives, finding out their habits and culture, taking responsibility and help them, and represent my background, interests, and culture to them, all bring me happiness!

I want to improve my German language level this year as I love to learn new languages. So far, I am good enough in speaking Italian. I think living with German speaking families will help me to get to know key words and slangs and improve my communication.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

First of all, I am very very good with cooking. I am very good to provide the best tastes of Persian meals. There are numerous type of dishes and I can cook you the cool ones and tell you about variety of dishes we have. I can also cook Italian meals, not all of them, but I learned a lot when I was living in Italy.
I care so much about organizing the place I live, keeping everything tidy, and bring order to where I live. I believe it helps a lot if you want to have a productive day! I set daily and weekly cleaning tasks for myself from vacuuming and washing dishes, to having the living room in shape and clean.
I love petting dogs and cats. I feel strong connection with them and taking care of them also gives me energy. I enjoy spending time with them, sitting besides them, and hugging them :).
I love nature and taking care of it. In my hometown, we have a small garden that my mother and I put efforts to keep it green and healthy during winter and summer. We grew tangerine, fig, persimmon, strawberry, basil, and mint.
I never had a chance of taking care of babies and children. But I am very good in playing with kids and taking care of babies. I am very patient and responsive, so you can trust me when I am needed to spend time with kids, teaching them English or Italian, playing games with them.
I am OPEN to learning new expetise like carpenting, agriculture, constructing, and so many other activities.

I love running often in nature, parks, along river, and I love swimming in water canals and lakes. I am big fan of doing barbeque and listening to some cool music and having a glass of wine with a beautiful view. I am interested in hiking and mountains and would be special to do it together. I love to exchange and share different things, it gives me good feeling about who I am and who I can be.
