Hey !

I'm Laura a 23 years old girl from Switzerland. I finished my bachelor last summer, did an internship and now I'm taking a break to travel.

I'm currently backpacking in Europe and I'm interesting to learn about a region better, meet people and learn new skills, that's why I signed up to Work Away.
I'm specifically interested in learning about sustainable agriculture and ways of living.

My hobbies: I really enjoy cooking, and I think it is a great way to share a good moment. I like being in nature for hiking, camping or just read a book under the sun.

About my personality: I would say I am calm, enthusiastic and curious.
I speak French (mother tongue), English and a little bit of German.

I've never Work Away yet, but I have some experience helping at a friend's organic farm (feeding animals, bake, packing cereals or biscuits and keeping a stand at markets or open day).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My best friend that I know from school, she's a farmer working at her organic farm. I love to go there and sometime I help her with baking bread, feeding animals, pack cereals or go to market with her.

At home a have a little garden and like planting a few things.

I love cooking. I'm not vegetarian, but I try to eat less meat. I like to discover new dishes and cook accordingly to seasons.
