Hi!
My main line of work is archaeology which is what I spend most of my time doing and thinking about. However, since I was very young I’ve done a lot of farming, craft work and travelling which is one of the reasons I began using workaway. It was a way for me to connect with people from various cultures and fuel one of my main interests when travelling which is learning about farming methods around the world (especially agroforestry and traditional organic farming) and other traditional local crafts.
I would call my style of travelling as aimless vagabonding. I have never been interested in comfortable things in my life so this way of travelling using tents and spare cabins suits me!
In my free time I also enjoy drawing, painting, hiking and cooking.

I am able to teach spoken and written English and Japanese. I also want to improve my Italian (especially spoken) which is only at a beginner level. But am also interested in all languages and hope to pick up as much as possible along the way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have been to many organic farms and although each farm is different I feel similar philosophies can be used on all organic farms. I have also worked a lot in archaeology which is very physically intense working environment and is good preparation for any work environment. I have also taught and translated in English and Japanese both informally with friends and professionally with published writers. I will be more than happy to share my languages.
Travelling a lot and meeting many people, I have picked up many small skills and pieces of knowledge that always come useful in strange ways. Knowledge in crafting, building, farming or food have always been useful for me in my life.
