Hello everybody,
I'm Lea, 27 years old, from Germany and currently planning a backpacking trip to Central Asia this summer.
Looking for both hosts and buddies.
I am a courious, communicative, positive and openminded person and would like to not only visit the biggest tourist attractions, but also come into contact with locals. I would be more than happy getting inviews in the everyday life and culture and contribute something in return.
I am also looking for travel buddies to explore remote places, go hiking together and have some adventures :)
I study veterinary medicine and I am very much interested in agriculture and live stock farming in other countries. So if there is any chance to visit or help in a farm, it would be great.
I work in gastronomy as a part time job.
In my free time I love to meet friends, having deep conversations, cooking together or going to an event. I like subkulture events, flea markets, etc. I play the double bass and dance Lindy Hop. Almost every day I go out for a walk. I enjoy the nature a lot, watching birds or collecting some flowers makes me really happy and slow down from busy student life. I also organize events to educate about sustainability in my university.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a practical person and can offer my help in diverse tasks.
My family has a big garden and I have helped with the plants since I was a kid. We renovated our whole house by ourselves and I learned a lot about construction work and how to fix things in and around the house.
I am passionate about cooking, I can help you in the kitchen and also show you traditional dishes from Germany and Switzerland. I would also love to learn to prepare some traditional dishes from you.
Of course I can also help with other tasks in the household.
I am a veterinarian so I would love to help with your animals and share my experiences. It is enriching for me to see what kind of animals you have and what animal husbandry systems exist in your country.
I also like spending time with children, see the world with their eyes and give them new perspectives. I can teach them my languages, something about environment/sustainability or something about my culture. Also I like playing games etc. I believe, that the intercultural encounter itself is a great experience for kids. They can learn to think outside the box and grow up to openminded people. I had exchanges as a kid myself and the experiences will last forever.

My interests are music, nature, environment and sustainability, animals, food, doing creative things like painting or knitting, hiking, dancing, basketball and much more.
