Hello!
I'm Lena
I just graduated from school and I'm now planning to explore the world.
I want to get to know new cultures, languages ​​and lots of great people.

I grew up in a small village in northern Germany, always surrounded my nature and animals.
I love to learn and try new things!
I would describe myself as a bright and positive person. I always try to make the people around me feel comfortable. I love to talk to people and get to know them, even if I might seem a little reserved at first.

My goal with traveling through workaway is to spend a wonderful time with wonderful people, see the worl and maybe get to know myself a little more.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I started working at the guest house "Proitzer Mühle" in Nov. 2023 and will stay here till the end of Feb. 2025. I gained a lot of experience in various working areas. I worked with animals (horses, chickens, ducks, cats, a dog and a wild boar) cleaned out the stables, fed them and spend time with them.
I looked after the ponds and garden and, depending on the season, did woodwork, helped with the hay harvest, raked leaves or shoveled snow.
I was also able to gain experience in the kitchen and learned the basics of cooking. I also cleaned guests rooms and got an insight into office work.
I don't mind getting my hands dirty and would love to help with anything as much and good as I can.

I have a German driving license and can drive a car ( trailer) and smaller tractors (3,5 tons).

I love art and music. I like going to concerts and visit museums. My favorite hobby is crafting. I like to sew every now and then, even though I'm not very good at it yet.
